The Controller’s Office recently modified the Miscellaneous Deposit Guidance which was established a few years ago. The revised guidance, now referred to as Deposit Guidance, provides clarification on the types of deposits that are received and how they are recorded. In addition, the enhanced guidance provides specific examples for each entity accepting funds per the Placement of Funds Policy 7A-17.
