Updated Guidance on Honoraria & Peer Review, Research Board, and Committee Member Payments | 8/18/2021

The Controller’s Office is pleased to announce updated guidance on honoraria payments and new guidance on Peer Review and Research Board and Committee Member payments.  You can find the updated honoraria guidance here and the new guidance for peer review and research board and committee member payments here.  This new guidance provides definitions and information on how to process these types of payments.  New Certification Statement forms are also available to use when processing electronic payment requests for either of these types of payments.  You can find the new Certification Statement forms here.

OMNI account 740241, Peer Review/Rsh Board Svc has been created to account for these payments.  This account should be used for peer review services for evaluation of scientific, academic, or professional work by others working in the same field and research board and committee member payments to individuals including Community Advisory Boards, Scientific Advisory Boards, Committee Members, and other similar activities such as consulting, advising, reviewing, or sharing opinions on a project or grant, where the individual is considered an expert in the field and acting in a board or committee member capacity.
