Central offices have identified an issue with some purchase orders (POs) that rolled forward from 2023-24. For these impacted POs, 2024-25 encumbrances are currently overstated, which may lead to available budget balance deficits. While this problem primarily impacts sponsored research budgets, other budgets may be affected where POs are funded on multiple combinations.
ITS is actively working with the vendor to resolve this issue. The following steps are being taken to ensure continuity of operations:
- Central offices will automatically override budget errors caused by the impacted POs.
- If you suspect that your budget balance has been affected by this issue, visit here to access a list of impacted POs and over-encumbered amounts.
- If this issue is preventing you from confirming final expenses for financial reporting and billing on projects that have ended, contact your assigned Accounting Coordinator for assistance.
