Say Hello to Workday Adaptive Planning!
FSU will be moving budgeting functions from Hyperion to Adaptive Planning for both annual budget entry and bi-weekly rate processes.
The application will be live for all users April 1, 2022.
Department fiscal personnel including salary preparers, budget preparers, budget managers, and approvers will access the application.
Adaptive Planning provides budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analytics for organizations of all sizes. The software is known for industry-leading usability and the security, scalability and flexibility required for complex planning. With this switch to Adaptive Planning, FSU is using a new cloud solution that will provide a more user-friendly user interface and enhanced reporting capabilities. This new system will improve the efficiency of annual and year-round budgeting and reporting processes for departments.
The FSU Budget Office will directly contact designated personnel regarding training on this new system, which will be offered in late March. Following training, salary and budget preparers will be able to access the application in a view-only state. Adaptive Planning will open for salary and budget entry April 1, 2022.
