House Bill 7031, passed by the Florida Legislature, and signed by Governor Ron DeSantis on June 30, 2025, eliminates the sales tax on commercial real property leases effective October 1, 2025. Please refer to the TIP (Tax Information Publication) from the Florida Department of Revenue for more information. Customers should no longer be charged sales tax on commercial rentals for rental periods beginning October 1, 2025.
