The Controller’s Office is pleased to announce two new BI dashboards within the Financial Reports section - Departmental Ledger Review and Encumbrance Period Balance. 

The Departmental Ledger Review dashboard will aid departments in reviewing ledger balances, transactions, and supporting documentation.  Drilling links will allow users to see the transaction details (source, journal date, journal ID, vendor/employee, transaction reference number) associated with ledger balances.  Drilling links within transaction detail will link to associated transaction pages in OMNI Financials to allow users to view any associated documentation stored in OMNI Financials.

The Encumbrance Period Balance dashboard will provide departments encumbrance balances as of the end of accounting periods.  Drilling links will allow users to see the transaction details (transaction date, transaction source, PO/TAUTH/JRNL reference number, vendor/employee) associated with those period balances.  Drilling links within the transaction detail will link to the associated transaction page in OMNI Financials to allow users to view any associated documentation stored in OMNI Financials.

We recommend using Firefox or Chrome for these dashboards due to technical issues users have encountered when using Internet Explorer.
