The Controller's Office has recently completed a comprehensive review and update of our Payroll (4-OP-D-2-E) and Payables & Disbursements (4-OP-D-2-C) policies, alongside a redesign of our website. These updates are designed to streamline policy governance and make everyday operational resources easier to navigate.
Below is an overview of the key changes:
- Policy Streamlining & New Procedure Manuals: We have updated the official Payroll and AP policies to focus strictly on high-level process rules and governance. To make routine tasks easier to manage, detailed procedural instructions have been removed from the main policy documents and placed into standalone Procedure Manuals.
- Website Redesign & "Departmental Resources" Tab: Over the past year, our team has worked to make the Controller’s Office website more user-friendly. As part of this layout update, we have launched a centralized Departmental Resources tab, which will serve as your primary hub for accessing the new procedure manuals, forms, and training materials. For security purposes, some internal resources require a login. You will be prompted to sign in with your FSUID to access these materials.
