With the close of Fiscal Year 2025-2026, the estimates used as the basis of the proposed fringe benefits pool rates published in January have been reviewed. Based on this review, the previously published rates will be adjusted slightly. Revised 2026-2027 fringe benefits pool rates are available at https://budget.fsu.edu/benefitspool. These rates will be applied for all fund groups, including sponsored projects, effective with the first payroll of 2026-2027. (Please note, both 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 fringe pool rates have now been reviewed and pre-approved by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.)
For some departments, the revised 2026-2027 fringe benefits pool rates will have a nominal impact on salary budgets.
- Impacted Education and General (E&G) departments will be contacted by the Budget Office to initiate corrections.
- As always, for other fund groups including E&G-Carryforward, Auxiliary, and Designated, budget managers may initiate their own budget adjustments. Email budget@fsu.edu with questions or for assistance.
- While most sponsored projects will not require a rebudget with this change, impacted sponsored projects may contact their SRA Accounting Coordinator with related questions.
